Italian-trained framer & designer, Jodie Prymke CGF (Certified Guild Framer), has created her own style when it comes to custom picture framing - fresh and contemporary, yet classically timeless.
Jodie began her professional framing career in Melbourne in 1996. With her fashion design background and a passion for conserving fine art, she joined the Picture Framers Guild of Victoria in 1998. In 2001, she became a full member of the PFGV, achieving her Certified Guild Framer's certificate, one of only 19 in Australia, the only one in South Australia.
In 2007 and 2008 Jodie travelled to Bologna and Florence in Italy, where she studied gilding, frame restoration and traditional framing techniques at the artisan studio "Oro e Colore" owned and run by C & S Martelli, Master Gilders to the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.
On returning to Australia, "Jodie Prymke Fine Art Framing" was opened in March 2008.
