Often very fragile, needle art needs to be handled carefully and framed correctly. We have customers who come to us from all over Australia because they know we will care for their needlework and frame it correctly. For generations to come - isn't it worth doing properly?
This little blue cross stitch has been framed using a piece of linen covered matboard, the UV Conservation glass is actually underneath the fabric covered board, but built up by a box inside the frame so the glass doesn't touch the needlework. It was laced onto a piece of 100% cotton board. We use only this very traditional method of lacing on all needle art pieces, whether they are old or brand new.
