Important Update - Effective 11 October 2026

​A design consultation fee of $150 (up to 30 minutes) applies to all new framing clients.  The fee is payable upon arrival at the studio and is non-refundable. If you proceed with the order and pay the non-refundable deposit, the fee will be fully credited against the related tax invoice.  

This fee does not apply to clients enquiring about art or frame cleaning, repairs or restorations.

Why do you charge a $150 design consultation fee?

The consultation fee covers our professional design time. Our founder, Jodie Prymke CGF, is an international award-winning, qualified conservation framer - the assessment, materials, proportions and techniques she recommends are specialised expertise, not free advice. The $150 is fully credited the moment you place the related order and pay the non-refundable deposit. If you choose not to proceed, it simply covers the work already done.

This is how we protect the quality of what we offer, ensure our design work is respected, and work only with clients who value our time. ​​

 

Do you need a deposit?

 

Yes, we do require a 50% deposit for all custom picture framing orders. Work will not commence on your order until we have received the 50% deposit. Custom picture framing deposits are non-refundable.

 

Why do you need a 50% deposit?

 

Each frame is made individually to your specifications, and products are ordered in especially for you from interstate or overseas. Understandably, we can't re-sell a custom-made frame.  This is especially true where the item being framed is very personal, for example, a wedding photograph or certificate. 

How do I pay you?

We accept cash, EFTPOS, VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, PayPal, Apple Pay and Direct Payments. A 12 months lay-by plan is also available.

 

 

How long does it take before my frame is finished?

Turn-around time for our custom picture framing is usually  1 - 3 weeks. 

Art and frame restorations can take 3 - 6 months.

We will send a text message upon completion of your work.

What happens if I don't collect my frame?

 

Completed picture frames not collected within three (3) months of notification will be disposed of or sold to recoup the balance of the custom framing.  Alternatively, storage fees are $20 per day. ​​​
