Our Swiss-made computerized mat cutter, the Gunnar F1-XL, is for cutting mat board as well as debossing (engraving), French matting ink lines, drawing and calligraphy. 

 

With this machine, the design possibilities are endless.  Just about anything you can imagine is possible….any shape or word can be cut, debossed or drawn onto the matboard.

The Gunnar is the only machine on the market that cuts at a true 45 degree angle, which means that not only are the bevel cuts precise, but the bevels look luxuriously thicker than you would normally see.  The effect is just amazing, particularly on an 8ply board.  It is also the only machine that guarantees no stop-start marks in circle and oval mat cuts.
