OVAL & CIRCLE FRAMES

 

All our oval and circle frames are imported raw from Italy and then hand finished to your requirements.

 

Each frame:

• has one layer of rabbit skin glue

• has three layers of imported Bologna chalk gesso

• is finely sanded to an egg-shell like finish

• has three layers of bole (clay) - yellow and red for gold, and black for silver

 

Finishes include 23k gold leaf, 12k white gold leaf, bronze leaf and copper leaf.
